Cypriaca is an Internet-based spatial database about birds, their science and their distribution, that allows users from anywhere in the world to input and query Cyprus bird data. The system provides the facility to download data into Excel and analyse them for personal requirements.

Note to users

In an effort to alleviate problems with location duplications, the administrators are reviewing the database and merging duplicates.

Some locations may be renamed with the UN approved English version of the name for the villages and towns. Would all users also please try and ensure that when entering sightings they check the locations already in use thoroughly to avoid further duplications.

We apologise for any inconvenience and are sure that the review will make the site and the information contained on it more useful and easy to access.
